Edward Heneage Primary Academy

It is our intention to ignite a real love of learning by providing a rich, varied and exciting curriculum that meets the needs of each and every individual.

We run a variety of after school clubs each term.

There are currently a number of clubs and activities for your child to attend.

There is something at Edward Heneage Primary Academy for everyone.

Daily are Early Risers which starts at 8.15am, which is a sports club run by Miss Cook, and Breakfast Club which starts at 8.00am.

New clubs are introduced at the beginning of each term.

We usually have a range of after-school clubs on offer.

We have a cooking club where children make a variety of sweet and savoury dishes; Fred’s fun club -a fun phonics club full of games to help the children learn the sounds; home learning club and multi-sports clubs for Reception and/or KS1 children.

For our KS2 children, there’s wide selection of sports clubs including, skipping, hockey, football, netball and athletics. Teams regularly compete against other schools in friendlies and in DRET competitions.  There’s also a home learning club available to KS2 and Thursday club which has a ‘youth club’ feel with crafts, games and cooking included.  We have a very popular KS2 choir that meets at lunch times, highlights have included singing at the DRET Christmas Service at Grimsby Minster and the DRET music festival.
