We are here for everyone, not just our pupils!
We are so fortunate to have such an outstanding building and very much want to welcome people from our community to come in and make use of it. We have a dedicated community room especially for use by adult groups. We also have some great partnerships with other organisations that put on activities for the community.
We think it is really important that our school is open to everyone. The more parents, friends and family get involved, the better it is for our pupils.
Academic Support Unit
Miss Fairless and Miss Tucker are our ASU staff. They are happy to deal with any queries you may have.
Here at Edward Heneage Primary Academy we have linked up with Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust to provide children from our academy and the surrounding area, a free accessible football session delivered by Grimsby Town coaches. All coaches are FA qualified, first aid trained and DBS checked. One of the coaches who will be delivering the session is Mr Broughton from our academy.
There are currently two sessions available every Thursday night. The first of these being 5-6pm which is available for girls of all ages. The second session of the evening is available for boys within years 5 and 6 and this runs from 6-7pm, however we are currently in the process of looking to extend this for a further hour making this accessible for more students.
Our Multi use games area (MUGA) is the venue for the session, and with brand new portable floodlights, this means this out of school provision will be accessible all year round.
